I can fully attest to sourdough ciabatta being one of the greatest, most satisfying things to bake. And it freezes SO well!
Three good things from me
1. Kids loving the book parade at school
2. We have managed to grow some tulips! They are very short stemmed & only one has bloomed so far but my gosh I feel so proud of farmer maxwell (that’s Blake’s farmer name) & farmer root beer (that’s Sadie’s farmer name) who helped me plant them out.
3. Same as you, these longer days. I love that daylight is peeping over the hills before 630am these last few days.
Hello from the western burbs of Melbourne! 3 good things today?
1. my fella had to go to Bunnings (he's a tradie) and came home with a bootload of discounted flower and veg seedlings for our garden!
2. my 12 year old who is now taller than me and hormonally grumpy gave me a squeezy hug this morning and said in a growly voice "i love you so much mum" (I literally can't remember the last time that happened)
3. we then companionably sat and drank strawberry smoothies together (I bought up big the other day as strawberries are super cheap atm and I heard the berry industry is struggling)
