How to make your home a wee haven for wildlife.
I garden like my nonnos to stay close to them. I love this: “I now garden like my nonnos taught me. It keeps me in a ready supply of delicious food, and costs me next to nothing. From them, I inherited the art of home composting systems, how to keep chooks and a “re-use everything” mentality. They also taught me how to save my own seeds and use homemade fertilisers.”

Three Good Things
Picking up sticks in the garden.

What are your Three Good Things for today?
Are you okay today?

Oh I want to read that book! I wish I could garden like nonno but alas, I am terrible at gardening despite my efforts.
Is it ok if one of my good things for today is that it’s almost over? The weather has been atrocious here so finally getting home & out of the horrible weather for the day is very good indeed. 2. I picked up my new reading glasses so now I can see properly when I read. 3. Saying yes when my kids asked for donuts after school & seeing them be so happy about it.
Love to you Pip xx
We had jacket potatoes with all the toppings last night, it was very yum.
1. I walked along the beach today and it was actually warm, also the amazing patterns where the waves had washed across the soft dry sand.
2. I sat outside on my new seat in the garden and watched the birds in the trees.
3. Coffee with the yoga ladies.
Cheers Kate
